Youth events coming up…watch for more details.

Adults

Minto’s congregation are actively involved in Sunday services.  They sing in the choir, read Scripture, offer Intercession prayers, act as communion servers, collect the offering, usher and operate the elevator.

There are many groups:

  • Kindred Sisters – A women’s study group.  Join us for book studies and prayer.
  • Minto Hugs – Make quilts for members in need.
  • Worship Committee – Oversees all aspects of Worship at Minto.
  • Faith Development Committee – Oversees Sunday School, Bible studies, special coffee hours and special events to encourage others to grow in their spiritual walk.
  • Arm Chair Travel – A social group who enjoy slide presentations at the Public Library, take short afternoon trips in and around Moose Jaw and who meet regularly at the church.
  • Multimedia Group – Oversees the technical environment of the church, i.e. computers, sound, PowerPoint/videos, and cameras on Sunday mornings (as well as other functions.)
  • Pastoral Care Team – Visit with those who are no longer able to attend the church.
  • Men’s Club – Meets the last Saturday in the month at a downtown restaurant for breakfast and fellowship.  This group takes on various projects within our church.
  • Maintenance – the men in our congregation use their talents to help the facilities manager keep our church safe and in good repair.

United Church Women

U.C.W. is a group of ladies who serve the church and community by providing luncheons for any occasion, plus we have a fall supper and a spring tea. We give financial support to different charities. We do these things with lots of laughter and fellowship. Our meetings are held in the Chapel at 9:30 a.m. on the last Tuesday of the month. We invite anyone to join us!

Library

The Children’s Library is located in the lower C.E. hall. This library provides easy books, cassettes, and videos. Instructions are posted to enable you to check out items.
